I know its a few days late, but this week we bring you stupidity.
Lots of stuff going on in life so not too much time to blog. Finally got my band started so thats taking up a lot of my time, plus work has been fairly hectic.
Got snowed out in the field for an extra couple days too, so that didn't help.
But as long as people keep reading and commenting I'll keep blogging. If our # of readers keeps droping though I may just give up.

CHP Officer Shot and Killed
Something for those of you in the California area to be on the lookout for.

A California Highway Patrol officer was shot and killed this morning
on Highway 99 just north of Modesto, and authorities are asking Bay
Area motorists to be on the lookout for the suspect's vehicle.
The car, which may have been spotted in Oakland this morning, is
described as a dark green 1990 Nissan Maxima with a black top, a
license plate number of 5KWA335, a broken right taillight and a dented
right rear core panel, according to the CHP.
The highway patrol has identified two potential suspects in the case.
One man is Columbus Allen, 30, who is described as a black man with
black hair, brown eyes, about 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 200
pounds. The other is Oscar Lee Allen, 40, who is described as a black
man with black hair, brown eyes, about 5 feet 10 inches and weighing
195 pounds.
The six-year officer, a Ripon resident whose identity was not
released, was shot during a traffic stop at about 4:40 a.m., said CHP
Officer Brian Land.
All northbound lanes of Highway 99 between Modesto and Salida have
been shut down.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Disturbed, Hemlock, Bloodsimple, and drunks
I went to go see Disturbed down in Denver last night. They were ok, but I've seen them do better. What really rocked was Hemlock, they put on an awsome stage show and if your into some really hardcore metal I suggest you check them out.
Bloodsimple on the other hand sucked live. I guess musically they were what I expected them to be, but their vocalist was horrible.
Now to the fun part... drunken idiots.
Let me set up the situation for you first. Anyone here thats ever been to a decent rock concert knows that when your in the front row you have to work together with people to keep from getting trampled by the stupid ones. Well me and this one guy, who was wearing and American flag bandana (that will come into play as I continue), were kinda forming a wall to keep people from running these 12 year old girls over who were in front of us.
Well this drunk guy guy kinda stumpled through the crowed, ended up in the middle of the girls, and threw his beer in the guys face for no reason. Then he started pointing at the flag that was on his head and cussing and shit and tried to rub the beer into the flag.
Needless to say I was pissed. First of all he was being a dick to the guy who had been helping me the whole time we were there. Second of all he was disrespecting the flag that I joined the military to fight for.
Still... mainly because I didn't want my first sergeant to have to come bail me outta jail, I didn't break the guys face open. Instead I just shoved him outta the way so he'd stop.
Well thats when he decided it would be a good idea to try to punch me in the face... dumbass.
He might as well have missed. He barely skimed the top of my head. Normally I try to avoid conflict but he started coming at me again and I was stuck in a crowd with no where to go, so I punched him... pretty sure I hit him in the nose. At least thats what my friend Justin said.
Anyways he stumpled back a few feet. The crowd opened up as it always does when people start throwing fists, and he started to come at me again... then outta no where this 300 pound fat guy who was near us and saw everything grabs him and puts him down. About a minute later the guy got up and ran off...
Most fun I've had in a while.
